XCurio Summer Camps 2026

Overview

Welcome to XCurio Academy.

We believe summer is a unique opportunity for children to step beyond the routines of traditional schooling and let curiosity inspire excellence in a joyful, stress-free environment.

This summer, we’ve designed an inspiring 6-week journey built around two powerful pillars: Mathematical Thinking (Weeks 1–3) and Business Leadership (Weeks 4–6)—each crafted to develop critical thinking, confidence, and real-world skills.

Our program seamlessly blends academic enrichment with creativity and play. Mornings are dedicated to focused learning in math or business, while afternoons come alive with games, art projects, and hands-on activities that foster creativity, collaboration, and fun.

By combining academic rigor with creativity and real-world relevance, XCurio empowers every student to explore, question, and thrive.

Small Group Focus

To ensure every student receives personalized mentorship and meaningful
engagement, enrollment is strictly capped at 12 students per group. Once these seats are filled, registration for that week will close.

Summer Math Camp

Morning Focus: Logic, Pattern Recognition, and Mathematical Confidence.

We move beyond rote memorization. Our goal is to show students the “why” and “how” behind the numbers, preparing them for a strong start to the next school year.

Building Strong Math Thinkers
Week 1: Number Sense & Mental Math

Students develop a deep understanding of how numbers work through place value, number bonds, and mental math strategies. The focus is on confidence, flexibility, and explaining math thinking clearly.

Math in Everyday Life
Week 2: Fractions & Measurement

Students explore fractions, sharing, and measurement using hands-on, real-life examples. They learn how math connects to daily activities such as time, money, and measuring objects.

Thinking Ahead with Math
Week 3: Patterns, Geometry & Data

Students strengthen logical thinking through patterns, shapes, and simple data analysis. This week builds early algebraic thinking and spatial awareness in a fun, engaging way.

Smarter Strategies, Stronger Numbers
Week 1: Number Sense & Mental Math

Students deepen their understanding of large numbers, estimation, and efficient mental math strategies. Emphasis is placed on choosing smart methods and explaining reasoning clearly.

Applying Math to the Real World
Week 2: Fractions, Decimals & Measurement

Students connect fractions, decimals, and measurement to real-life problem solving. Through practical applications, they build accuracy and confidence with multi-step problems.

Preparing for Advanced Thinking
Week 3:Algebra, Geometry & Data

Students explore patterns, geometry, and data interpretation to develop structured mathematical thinking. This week strengthens problem-solving skills essential for upper elementary math.

Mastering Numbers with Confidence
Week 1: Number Sense & Mental Math

Students refine mental math skills using integers, decimals, and efficient calculation strategies. The focus is on accuracy, reasoning, and mathematical confidence.

Understanding Proportional Reasoning
Week 2: Fractions, Ratios & Percent

Students learn how fractions, ratios, and percentages work together in real-life contexts. This week builds a critical foundation for middle school and advanced math.

Thinking Like a Future Mathematician
Week 3: Algebra, Geometry & Statistics

Students develop readiness for higher-level math through algebraic thinking, geometry, and data analysis. They learn to justify solutions and interpret information logically.

The Business Academy

Morning Focus: Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership.

The Mini Merchants (Grades 1-2)

Week 4: Coin Collectors

Meeting the money. We learn to identify coins, count change, and play “Store” to understand how buying and selling works.

Week 5: My Dream Shop

If you could open any store, what would it be? Students draw their dream shop (Candy? Toys? Pets?) and decide what to sell.

Week 6: The Polite Professional

Manners matter! We role-play being a shopkeeper: shaking hands, saying “thank you,” and helping customers

The Young Innovators (Grades 3-4)

Week 4: The Inventor’s Workshop

Solving problems. Teams brainstorm a new invention that makes life easier and build a prototype using craft supplies.

Week 5: Brand Bosses

Making it look cool. We learn how colors and logos make people want to buy things, and design a poster for our invention.

Week 6: Profit Pioneers

The Lemonade Stand Challenge. We run a simulation to see how much “money” we can make by managing our supplies and prices.

The Junior CEOs (Grades 5-6)

Week 4: The Blueprint

Writing a Business Plan. We look at real companies (like Apple or Nike) to see how they started, then map out our own big idea.

Week 5: Wall Street Week

Understanding the market. A fun introduction to the Stock Market, budgeting, and how to grow a $10,000 virtual investment.

Week 6: The Dragon’s Den Pitch

The final test. Students learn public speaking and negotiation tricks to present their business idea to the judges.

The Afternoon Electives (Daily: 1 PM - 4 PM)

Our afternoons are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable, giving students time to play, create, socialize, and recharge after a focused morning of learning. There are two options to choose from:

For the Makers and Dreamers. A hands-on environment where imagination takes physical form

For the Thinkers and Tacticians. A social hub where games are used to sharpen the mind.
